Hello JyotishVidya community,

I'm reaching out because I've been experiencing a persistent string of health problems ever since the recent Rahu and Kethu Gochara (transits) into Meena and Kanni respectively. It started with a mysterious digestive issue, then nagging joint pains, and now I'm dealing with chronic fatigue. Doctors can't find anything conclusive, which is even more frustrating.

My Lagna is Vrishabha, and for me, Rahu transited into my 11th house, and Kethu into my 5th house. I know the 5th house relates to progeny and stomach, and 11th to gains and sometimes legs, but this feels deeper. Is it possible these health concerns are directly linked to these planetary movements?

I'm wondering if there are any specific yogas or doshas activated by this transit that could explain these inexplicable ailments. I'm usually quite healthy, so this sudden downturn is very concerning. I've even checked my Ashtakavarga, but I'm not knowledgeable enough to interpret it properly.

Has anyone else experienced significant health changes during this Rahu-Kethu transit? Are there any specific temple remedies (like visiting Navagraha temples) or other astrological Upayas I could consider? I'm open to any suggestions or astrological insights!

Namaste! It's perfectly understandable why you're feeling frustrated, especially when medical tests yield no clear answers. From a Jyotish perspective, your intuition about the Rahu-Kethu Gochara is very sound, particularly with your Vrishabha Lagna.

Kethu's placement in the 5th house of Kanni is a significant indicator for your digestive issues. The 5th house rules the stomach, digestive fire (Jathara Agni), and even your Poorva Punya. Kanni (Virgo) is a dual earth sign ruled by Budha (Mercury), known for its meticulousness and connection to digestion/intestines. Kethu here can create a sense of detachment or even confusion regarding these areas, leading to inexplicable stomach ailments. It can also affect clarity of mind and, combined with its spiritual nature, might manifest as a feeling of mental fatigue or a lack of zest for life. The joint pains might also stem from this lack of vitality or even a suppressed autoimmune response, as the 5th house also relates to immunity to some extent.

Now, Rahu in the 11th house of Meena. Meena is a watery, dual sign ruled by Guru (Jupiter), representing spirituality, imagination, and the lymphatic system. While the 11th house is generally a benefic house for Rahu, here it can amplify the spiritual quest or create confusion around desires and gains. Since Meena also relates to the feet and lymphatic drainage, unexplained joint pains or swelling (even if subtle) could manifest. The chronic fatigue you mentioned could be a culmination of both. Kethu draining energy from the core (5th house) and Rahu in a spiritual, watery sign in the 11th causing a sense of aimlessness or spiritual over-activity, all contributing to a lack of physical vitality. It would be crucial to examine the condition of your Lagna Lord Shukra (Venus), and the dispositors Guru (Jupiter) for Rahu and Budha (Mercury) for Kethu, in your natal chart and Dasha sequence.

Oh, I totally resonate with your experience! I have a Simha (Leo) Lagna, and when Rahu transited into my 9th house and Kethu into my 3rd, I faced similar perplexing issues. It wasn't exactly health, but a severe lack of mental clarity and constant obstacles in my career, almost like a subtle sabotage. Doctors couldn't find anything, and I felt like I was constantly battling an invisible force.

What I learned is that Rahu and Kethu, especially during a Gochara, can stir up karmic patterns, and their effect is often subtle and hard to pinpoint medically. For me, it felt like an existential drain. I eventually started doing regular Sani (Saturn) and Rahu mantras because they were aspecting my career house, and things slowly started to improve. Your description of 'inexplicable ailments' truly hits home. It's a phase, and with some astrological remedies and patience, it will surely pass.

Hello! This sounds really tough, I hope you find some answers soon. I'm quite new to Jyotish, but I'm trying to learn. You mentioned your Lagna is Vrishabha, and Rahu Kethu changed signs. That's a lot to take in!

Could you share what Dasha and Bhukti you are currently running? I hear that Dashas are often more significant than transits for major life events, so maybe that's also playing a role? Also, where is your Lagna Lord, Shukra (Venus), placed in your natal chart? Is it strong? And what about Guru (Jupiter) and Budha (Mercury), as they rule Meena and Kanni respectively? Just trying to understand how these planets are interacting. Wishing you strength!

While the Rahu-Kethu transit is undoubtedly a significant event, especially for health in specific houses, it's also important to consider the underlying Dasha-Bhukti period you are currently experiencing. Sometimes, a transit merely acts as a trigger, bringing to the surface issues that are already indicated or brewing in your natal chart or Dasha sequence.

For a Vrishabha Lagna, Rahu in the 11th and Kethu in the 5th can certainly cause issues related to digestion (5th house Kethu in Kanni, ruled by Budha) and legs/circulation (11th house Rahu in Meena, ruled by Guru). However, have you checked the condition of your 6th house (health, disease) and 8th house (chronic illness, sudden events)? If there are malefic influences or a challenging Dasha lord currently ruling your 6th or 8th house, the Rahu-Kethu transit might simply be exacerbating those existing vulnerabilities. Also, check for any aspects from Sani (Saturn) or Mangal (Mars) on your 5th or 11th houses, or on their respective lords. A deeper look at the overall planetary strength and yogas in your natal chart alongside the transit would provide a more holistic picture.

You're definitely on the right track looking for Upayas! When doctors are stumped, it often points to a karmic or astrological root, and remedies can be surprisingly effective. For Kethu in the 5th, especially related to digestion, you could consider visiting a Lord Ganesha temple regularly. Offering 'modak' or 'Arugampul' (Bermuda grass) to Ganesha is highly recommended. Chanting the Ganapathi Atharvashirsham or the Kethu Beeja Mantra (Om Hrim Klim Ketave Namah) 108 times daily can also bring relief.

For Rahu in the 11th, particularly if it's causing physical discomfort, worship of Goddess Durga or Lord Shiva is powerful. Visiting a Navagraha temple and performing an Archana specifically for Rahu is a common and effective parigaram. Donating black urad dal or mustard seeds on a Saturday or during Rahu Kalam on any day can also help mitigate negative effects. Some traditions also recommend feeding black dogs. Also, since Meena is Guru's sign, strengthening Jupiter through Guru mantras or wearing a yellow sapphire (after proper consultation) could also help uplift the overall energy. Regularly checking the Panchangam for auspicious days to start these upayas can also enhance their efficacy.
