How's this Guru Peyarchi affecting your Simham rasi? Feeling a bit lost.

Hey everyone,

I'm a Simham (Leo) rasi native, and this current Guru Peyarchi (Jupiter transit) has been quite a rollercoaster for me. Guru is currently transiting my 9th house from the Moon, which is generally considered auspicious for Dharma, luck, and spiritual growth. However, I'm finding myself feeling a bit directionless and confused, especially when it comes to my higher education plans and overseas travel aspirations.

I was really hoping for some breakthroughs in these areas, as the 9th house typically signifies long journeys, higher learning, and fortune. Instead, I've encountered unexpected delays and bureaucratic hurdles. It feels like I'm taking one step forward and two steps back. My birth Guru is in the 5th house, and I usually find its influence quite benevolent, but this transit feels different.

Is anyone else with Simha rasi experiencing similar effects from this Guru Gochara? Or perhaps you're finding it to be very positive? I'm curious to hear how others are navigating this period. Sometimes it helps just to know you're not alone in feeling this way.

I've been trying to stay positive and focus on spiritual practices, thinking that might align with the 9th house energy, but the practical side of things just isn't moving. Any shared experiences or general insights on Guru's transit through the 9th for Simham rasi would be much appreciated!

Vanakam, fellow Simha rasi native! I completely understand your feelings of disorientation during this Guru Gochara. While Guru in the 9th is indeed a potent placement for Dharma Trikona matters, especially higher learning and foreign travel, we must remember Guru's dual lordship for Simham. He rules both the auspicious 5th house (intelligence, poorva punya) and the challenging 8th house (obstacles, sudden changes, hidden matters).

This 8th house lordship, even when transiting a benefic house like the 9th, can introduce elements of unforeseen hurdles, bureaucratic delays, or the need for deep transformation before progress. It's like Guru is asking you to really dig deep and understand the 'why' behind your aspirations, perhaps clearing out some old karma (8th house influence) before bestowing the full blessings of the 9th. Also, consider Shani's current transit. If Shani is aspecting your 9th house (which it would be from Kumbha for Simham), it can certainly create those 'one step forward, two steps back' moments, demanding patience and disciplined effort. Saturn always makes us earn our rewards.

Focus on the spiritual practices you mentioned; they are precisely what the 9th house asks for when its practical manifestations are delayed. The clarity gained through spiritual discipline can help you navigate these practical hurdles more effectively in the long run. Sometimes, delays are divine redirection.

Oh, I totally resonate with this! I'm a Simha rasi native as well, and this Guru Peyarchi has been a mixed bag. I was expecting a lot more luck with my visa application, given the 9th house transit, but it's been an absolute snail's pace with endless paperwork. I even had a minor health issue pop up that required unexpected travel expenses, which really put a dent in my savings for overseas plans.

My astrologer mentioned that sometimes Guru, despite being a benefic, can bring challenges related to its other rulership or if it's afflicted in the natal chart or by current transits. She advised me to chant the Guru Gayatri mantra daily and visit the Dakshinamurthy Sannidhi at my local temple on Thursdays. It hasn't magically solved everything, but I do feel a sense of calm and a bit more clarity about what steps I need to take next, even if they are slow. Hang in there, you're definitely not alone in feeling this way!

This is a classic dilemma for Simham natives when Guru transits the 9th. While the 9th is Dharma Bhava and naturally signifies fortune and higher learning, Guru also rules your 8th house of uncertainties and transformation. This often translates to 'hidden' obstacles or lessons that need to be learned before the true beneficence of the 9th house can manifest fully.

It's possible that the universe is asking you to refine your plans, do more in-depth research, or even question if your current higher education and travel aspirations truly align with your deeper dharma. Sometimes, the path to expansion (9th house) is through a period of introspection and letting go (8th house). Have you checked the strength and placement of your natal 9th lord (Mangal/Mars)? If Mars is debilitated or in a dusthana, its period might be causing these delays. Also, the nakshatra Guru is currently transiting could be significant. Is it in Bharani or Krittika, which have their own challenging energies?

I'm a Simha rasi native too, and honestly, I'm experiencing the exact opposite! My higher education plans, which were stalled for years, suddenly got a breakthrough. I received an admission offer from a prestigious university overseas, and the visa process has been unusually smooth. I think it might be due to my current Dasha. I'm running Guru Mahadasha, Guru Bhukti, and perhaps that's amplifying the positive effects of the transit.

My natal Guru is in the 10th house, aspecting my 2nd, 4th, and 6th, and it's quite strong. Maybe that's why it's different for me. It could be that your current Dasha-Bhukti period isn't as supportive of the 9th house matters, or perhaps there are other planetary aspects to your natal Guru or 9th house lord that are creating these blockages. It really shows how individual charts are unique even for the same Moon sign and transit!

Hey there, fellow Jyotisha enthusiast! I hear your frustration, and it's a common query. For Simha rasi, Guru's 9th house transit can indeed be powerful, but when obstacles arise, it's often a call for specific upaya. The 9th house is also Pitru Sthana, so performing Pitru Tarpanam or offering prayers to ancestors can clear hurdles. For Guru's blessings, visiting a Navagraha temple, specifically Alangudi (Guru Sthalam) in Tamil Nadu, or Thiruchendur (if your natal Guru is debilitated or afflicted) is highly recommended. You can perform an Archana there.

Beyond that, regular recitation of the Guru Ashtottarashata Namavali or the Vishnu Sahasranamam on Thursdays can be very potent. Donating yellow clothes, turmeric, or chana dal to a deserving brahmin or a temple priest on a Thursday, especially during a favourable Panchanga hora, can also strengthen Guru's positive influence and help mitigate the delays. Keep up with your spiritual practices; they are the bedrock of 9th house blessings!

This is so interesting! I'm a beginner but trying to learn. So, when Guru transits the 9th house, it's good, but for Simham, it also rules the 8th house, which can bring problems? Does this mean that even a generally good transit can be tricky depending on the rasi?

Also, you mentioned your birth Guru is in the 5th house. Does that make a big difference compared to the transit? And what about current Dasha and Bhukti periods? Do they override transit effects sometimes? I'm trying to piece together how all these factors interact. Thanks for sharing your experience!

Totally feel you on this one! I'm a Simha rasi native myself, and the higher education part is exactly where I'm stuck. It's like I have all these great ideas and plans, but the execution is just not happening. I even tried applying for some scholarships, and there were so many rejections or just no responses. It's disheartening when you expect good things from a transit but face unexpected snags. I guess we just have to keep pushing and have faith that Guru will eventually clear the path. Sending you positive vibes!
